Everyone is welcome here! St. Timothy Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Established as a mission in 1992 that grew out of a longing for a faithful, inclusive Christian community, St. Timothy welcomes all people and extends God’s love out into the community.
The building was built in 1997 with sweat equity from the parishioners. To extend welcome to people of all abilities, the facilities are fully accessible to wheelchairs, and a hearing loop is also available.
Mission Statement
Created by God, loved and forgiven by Jesus Christ, and led by the Holy Spirit, the people of St. Timothy answer God’s call to continually witness, welcome, worship, and build the community of God. Our doors are open to people from all walks of life, as we are all children of God. We will love and serve our community and spread God’s visionary message of hope, peace, and love to all.
Welcome Statement

St. Timothy is a community of the people of God, called to minister to all people. We believe that the Gospel is God’s gift to all people, to be shared unconditionally, without regard to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, cultural or ethnic background, physical or mental abilities, socioeconomic or family status, or age. We welcome ALL people, their partners, and their families. Christ calls us to reconciliation and wholeness. We are challenged by the Gospel to be agents of healing within our society. We affirm, with the apostle Paul, that in Christ, “there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female. Christ has made us one.” (Galatians 3:28) We pledge to ourselves and to all others, that we will strive to live as a reconciling people in our life together and in our outreach to the world. We commit ourselves to embracing the work of anti-racism, social and economic justice, and environmental care.
